Tesla unveils CyberVault home charging package with Cybertruck-inspired box design - NotebookCheck.net News

Tesla is adding a Cybertruck-themed storage box to the list of items inspired by the design of the most eagerly awaited electric vehicle this year. After the brutalist Wireless Charging Platform and the GigaBier whose bottle sleeves have the streamlined, edgy design of the Cybertruck's stainless steel body, it is now time for the CyberVault.

Tesla China has been teasing this term for a few days now, leaving us guessing as to what it might be, but finally the cable is out of the bag. That's right, the CyberVault is nothing short of a home charging service package, complete with the survey and charging pile installation, a 20-feet cable and, yes, the box to store said cable. Needless to say, the box has a lock, hence the vault term, but one look at the door and one can immediately tell where the "Cyber" part in the title comes from. The CyberVault box door is a direct mockup of the Cybertruck's edgy body lines and color.

Just like with the bottles of the GigaBier, there is a logo on the side of the box. In this case, it says CyberVault with a similar font. What are the CyberVault home charging system specs for the asking US$799 price then?

Tesla CyberVault charging pile is a single-phase 220V charging device, compatible with all Tesla models, and the corresponding charging performance is 32A/7KW. The length of the charging cable is 6 meters, which supports plug-and-play charging, scheduled charging/departure on time and other charging experiences.

It's not clear if the service package will make it on this side of the pond, but the Cybertruck-themed CyberVault box should, as many a potential Tesla owner probably wouldn't mind having this as a home charging solution.
