Available through Amazon Australia, the “genius” buy is a motorised clothesline which uses a remote control to move the racks from the ceiling and can be stopped at any height.

It is fitted with LED illumination lamps and fans to help dry clothes quicker, as well as extension poles to hold large items such as sheets and blankets.

The clothesline also has 24 positions for holding clothes on hangers, and can be installed anywhere in the home, ranging from your garage to laundry or even the bathroom.

It holds 35kg of laundry, and is made from steel and aluminum to “ensure durability”.

Many home owners were blown away by the “revolutionary” clothesline.

“What dreams are made of,” said one on the Cleaning & Organising Inspiration Australia page.

Another added: “What in the 30th century?”

Wrote one more: “I’ve never wanted something so badly.”

Despite costing a steep $859.90, many were desperate to get their hands on one.

“Definitely need one of these,” one responded.

Another said: “I want one.”

A third added: “We have one - it’s game changer!”
