BC Hydro ends EV charger rebate program after fund runs out of money - Drive Tesla

Electric vehicle (EV) owners in British Columbia hoping to take advantage of the EV charger rebate program through BC Hydro and CleanBC are out of luck as the funding for the popular program has run out. The program provided up the $350 off the purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV charger, including Tesla’s Wall Connector.

According to an update to the program’s website, applications for single-family homes are no longer being accepted as of June 15, 2023. However, even if you submitted your application before this date there is no guarantee you will receive your rebate as the funding is distributed on a first come first serve basis, but the website says if you received a pre-approval confirmation your application will be processed.
