NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) -- Local country singer Jelly Roll just made a huge toy donation to children in Nashville ahead of Christmas.
The recent Country Music Award new artist winner drove into Music City on Saturday with a tractor-trailer full of toys for the annual Last Minute Toy Store, which is partnered with the Davidson County Sheriff's Office. The program provides new toys, stocking stuffers, books, board games, sports equipment to qualifying families in need, as well as, gift cards for teens. Toy Truck Metal
Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall, who posed for a photo with Jelly Roll, recalled meeting the musician more than a year ago. Hall said Jelly Roll is "changing music and lives."
The final day for The Last Minute Toy Store is Sunday. Donations are being accepted from 1:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the DCSO, 5117 Harding Place.
