All things alpaca fleece will be covered at the Dartmouth Cultural Center on May 10 at 6 p.m.
Shirley Lanouette, owner of Hill Crest Alpacas located in town, will explain the shearing process, harvesting and storing of alpaca fleece. Linear Quilting Machine
Attendees will see a demonstration of how the raw alpaca fleece transforms to yarn on a drum carding machine and have the opportunity to card some fleece themselves.
Alpaca yarn and crafted products will be available for purchase at the event.
