Find trees as low as $60. Christmas Tree
And just like that, several retailers are starting to offer up discounts on artificial Christmas trees. Sure, it might feel early, but this isn’t anything unusual. Stores like Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Target start slashing prices on Christmas trees and other holiday decorations as early as mid-October.
EVERYTHING TO KNOW ABOUT BLACK FRIDAY 2023
That's exactly why right now is an ideal time to buy a fake tree, especially since you can take advantage of Black Friday deals and other pre-holiday sales events leading up to Christmas. After all, our sales and deals team has already spotted savings of up to 60% off artificial trees from popular brands like National Tree Company, Puleo and even the pricier Balsam Hill. What's more, some of the Good Housekeeping Institute's top-tested fake Christmas trees are heavily discounted.
Plus, shopping a little early means avoiding delayed shipping times and busy shopping crowds. Trees get more and more in demand as we get closer to December, so it's a great idea to get a head start while the selection's still strong. Bonus tip: Many retailers, like Walmart and Lowe's, offer free delivery or store pickup.
We scrounged up the best Black Friday Christmas tree deals (starting as low as $63) for every home and budget, including pre-lit trees, small and large indoor trees, white trees and more, ahead.

Absolutely — with a caveat. Black Friday definitely presents some great sales, and retailers know that shoppers will be looking, so you can expect a really strong selection that weekend. However, it's also the time when everyone's going to be looking for a tree, so it's not your best bet if you’re trying to avoid shopping crowds. That's why retailers are kicking off sales earlier than ever.
According to Balsam Hill, retailers offer "deep discounts" on holiday decor to make room on shelves for new products. And from what we’ve seen when covering sales and deals, we believe it. We've seen stores like Home Depot, Wayfair, and more offer up to 70%, sometimes 80%, savings on Christmas decorations, including Christmas trees. Price-wise, after Christmas is your best bet.
But despite the significant savings, most shoppers are in the market for a tree in November and December. And if that's you, Black Friday sales still offer pretty great discounts on trees, as seen above.
