Yingli Solar has announced the signing of an agreement to supply 1.25GW of high-efficiency Panda N-type TOPCon modules for Saudi Arabia’s Saad 2 PV project. The plant, developed by ACWA Power, is one of the region’s largest renewable energy projects and is a pivotal part of the third round of plans by the Kingdom’s Public Investment Fund (PIF).
EPC activities are handled by the Huadong Engineering Corporation and SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction (SEPCOIII), both under the PowerChina umbrella. The partnership marks another significant milestone for Yingli, ACWA and Huadong Engineering, following their involvement in the 575MW Ibri 2 project in Oman. 610w Solar Module
