Excess water on the ground drains into the pipes and is pumped to their treatment room.

There the water is processed and prepared for another wash.

The manager at Soft Cloth Car Wash said they can recycle about half the water they use for every car.

“Our reclamation system makes about 12 gallons of water a minute, and normally you would get rid of about six gallons of that," Tyler Lee said. "Most people put down the drain, but we recycle all of that to be used with the rest of the car wash.”

Soft Cloth Car Wash said they use about 80 gallons of water per car.
