A popular children’s toy has been recalled by Australia’s consumer watchdog over concerns it could cause serious injury if used.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has issued a recall alert for the Tender Leaf Toys Bunny Tales and Sailaway Boat, sold both in-store and online nation-wide from November 1, 2021 to October 26, 2022. Wooden Toy Table

The ACCC said the ears may detach from the bunny and create a small part, potentially posing a choking or suffocation hazard for young children.

The watchdog has urged anyone who has purchased wooden toys to stop using them immediately, and dispose of it.

Customers can contact Kaleidoscope Australasia Pty Ltd to organise for a different set of three characters to be sent as a replacement.

Consumers will need to provide Kaleidoscope with evidence that the product has been disposed of.
